"La Casona de San Pantaleón de Aras" is a traditional house built in the 17th century. It has been restored recently. Also it has been rebuilt as a hotel respecting its original charm which is mixed with a modern atmosphere. It is located in the eastern part of Cantabria, in the heart of Aras Valley, in a scenery full of fields, rivers and mountains inside an area of great environmental and cultural value. It is five minutes far from the motorway which links Santander and Bilbao. The houseyard is overlooking river Clarin. There is a 4000 m² orchard and fruit garden with autochthonous trees. A stone arch and a enormous wooden door made of chestnut-tree open the entrance of "La Casona". |

The original fireplace offers comfort and therefore the sitting room invites you to have some peace and quiet to read or just to chat and meet new friends. The dining room is a comfortable and illuminated room which opens to the arch at the entrance of the ancient medieval tower. The hotel offers seven double rooms with bathroom, three of them are suites. All of them are provided with telephone, television and heating systems. Besides, the special ones have a video-TV set and a safe-deposit box. It is neccesary to point out the fact that the guests could choose two separated beds or double bed in the same room. Services: |
