The hotel Los Agustinos is placed in the middle of historical center of the city of Haro, economic and administrative core of the same name district. It has taken more than 600 years for the ancient Saint Agustin convent, with its beautifully restored thick stone walls, to be converted into a modern hotel -a pride and joy to both the city of Haro and it is visitors. The origin of this beautiful building comes from 1373 when Don diego López de Haro got the licence to found a convent. Sine then, it has been a hospital, school and a prision, still preservering inscriptions on the cloister columns made by the prisioners. |
