Description 

The Carmen del Cobertizo (Arab. Karm, vineyard), is a characteristic, green site of Granada. It is partly a garden and partly an orchard, surrounded by garden walls, where the intense green ivy and climbing plants are slipping down. Placed on the foothill of Albayzín, you will find this hidden and charming viewpoint which offers its visitors a beautiful scenery and scenery and surprising panoramas. Its facade shelters the oldest cobertizo of eastern Andalusia (14th century, i.e Muslim era). These two circumstances make it a gentle and secret place, representing a peaceful intimacy.

The house of this carmen, The carmen del Cobertizo, is a distinguished mansion with five rooms, all of them are very special. Some of them faces the orchard, some of them faces the street, and others, finally... faces the Alhambra. Here you will find history and culture, grace and silence, greatness and art, harmony and peace.

 
The house has a magnificient patio where has been installed the main lounge. And on all four sides there are galleries supported by 8 stone columns.
